Допатякався!..



Не буде огляду опитування "Чи корисне людожерство?", як не прикро це визнавати. Сиджу, викруткою і молотком колупаю вінчестер. Сказився на найцікавішому місці. А куплений же всього 11 місяців тому! І гарантія десь запропастилась (знаю адресу!)... Скільки там гарантованої роботи цього жиліза мені наобіцяли, невже 24 місяці? Мушу тепер мудрувати: купити один ВЕЛИКИЙ (щоб, як "гавкне", то боляче стало), чи кілька дрібних, розкидати по них інформацію і плювати на тих горобців :) У системнику маю два ще робочих (ггг), тимчасово віндовс відновив (сердечна подяка параґон драйв бекап), але шкода праці. Не так, щоб дуже — травневі копії надійно закопані. Ось таке воно, літо... :)

    Купіть собі великий внутрішній HDD і невеликий зовнішній (через USB) - там на 300-500 Ґб. І будете важливу інформацію копіювати час від часу на зовнішній, а головне ж що зовнішній диск можна взяти і нести з собою куди заманеться.

    Дякую, poohitan! Ви завжди з’являєтесь вчасно і даєте корисні поради. Правда, я трохи інакше вчинив, з огляду на те, що переносити великі об’єми інформації мені не треба, для цього достатньо кількагігабайтної флешки.

    Зробив наступне. Виявилось проблемою придбати вінчестер, об’ємом 320 та 250, не кажучи вже про менше гігабайт. Хоча мені якраз менше і було б достатньо, бо задумав на якийсь малий (хоч би й 80-ку) встановити Віндовс і більш нічого туди не пхати :) Реальність (відсутність необхідного, ціни) скоригувала мої плани і я купив додатковий блок живлення, 500-гігабайтний жорсткий диск, який до нього ж і підключив, вивівши його за межі системного блоку. Тепер у мене Віндовс ділить з іграми місце на 250-гігабайтному диску, 80-ка продовжує виконувати попередню функцію :) , а обновка служить архівом та сховищем для усілякого медіа.

    Вінчестер на 320 гігабайт, котрий заскреготів і не піддається лікуванню спеціальними програмами, виявилось, має гарантію 33 місяці, тож при нагоді спробую погомоніти з продавцем. Мабуть зрадіє... :)
